I have recently come across an interesting video on youtube that was produced by neurodiversity activitist and hub blogger Christschool

The autism hub claims to promote acceptance and tolerance hmmmmm???

Whoever said I was tolerant of bigotry? You have some serious issues with the ability to reason. By the way, you weren't very tolerant of Robert Montgomery. I don't have a problem with pissing in your coffee "gadfly", unlike others who have tried to treat you with respect, you get what you give with me. I don't appreciate Marty Murphy telling me that my son is worse than death and if you have a problem with that, you can fuck off and you should hope you don't cross my path in real life if you hold her views as you seem to do.

Thanks for this post Christ school. Normally I would delete such a nasty abusive post. But I am going to leave this post completely intact just because it proves my point about how abusive and nasty and intolerant and bigoted some of the people in the neurodiversity movement are and the fact that the hub would allow you to continue your blog in their group shows how little respect they have for others who disagree with their view.

In the future you should probably post as christ school and not as CS or people will think CS actually stands for chicken shit.

Please leave my post. Thank you. I'm proud to be intolerant of fascists like yourself. I support autistics voicing their opinion, which is different from being intolerant of some of the ideals of self haters like yourself. Being nice to you would be condescending and not treating you as an equal. I call it like it is, your a bigot and self hater that would as soon see autistic people marginalized. Do you view my son as "worse than death".

Tell all Jonathan. Do you view my child as a non human and unworthy of life and worse than death like Marty Murphy has stated? Do you?

Thanks for your post and making such a complete ass of yourself Christ school. You are certainly doing the neurodiversity movement a big favor for allowing us to judge them by the company they keep. You are also doing the autism hub a big favor by showing us the type of persons whose blogs they link to.

No, Christ school, actually i don't view your son as being worse than death nor worthless nor nonhuman. I view him to be extremely unlucky to have a father who clearly has all of the profound psychiatric issues that you have.

If you don't agree with Marty Murphy's view of autism and my son, then you should understand my motivation behind the video.

I'm an individual and not easily lumped into a group that may help you cognitively understand my motivations. Leave your stereotypes at the door when dealing with me because I don't fit into some sort of neat little box so as you can marginalize me. You may view my defending my son's humanity as a personal psychiatric problem of mine but I frankly don't give a damn (I don't operate under NT norms and expectations). You can call me anything you like but if you try to damage my son in any way, either implicitly or explicitly, then I have a right to condemn you personally.

What I see from your blog is that you want to keep autistic people in the "ghetto". You wish to deny them inclusion, opportunity and human dignity. If that is a psychiatric problem, then I plead mea culpa.

Jonathan,

Let me tell you that I'm being quite restrained when I comment on this blog believe it or not. What I cannot stand is anyone that would leap abuse on children like my son which is how I see your views. I cannot get the world to view my son as a human being when there are autistics out there like you who give comfort to those that want to emotionally hurt children like my son. Your the little internet Rambo aren't you little man. Stop abusing children with your views Jonathan. Stop giving comfort to those that want to marginalize autistics Jonathan. Free yourself from self hatred.

Let me be clear with you on one thing. I don't give a DAMN about the HUB. You do! In so far as the hub sees my child as a human being, then I am fine with it. If participants on the HUB refer to my child as a toxic waste dump, a retard and call my son various names like brain damaged (a certain blogger you seem to be friendly with) then I will no longer be a "member" of the HUB. You sir come onto blogs and spit shit all over the place, assume motivations of people that you don't know and then want to act like some sort of internet Rambo? Please. Go back to whatever hole of hatred for autistics you came from.

again it saddens me that your son has such a disturbed man as a father and will grow up with such a poor role model. The fact that you are his father will cause him for more problems in his life than his autism does.

Jonathan,

A man that has never advocated for his own child, nor knows what it is like to advocate for his own child disagrees with the fact I want my son to grow up to have self esteem, opportunites, inclusion, free from discrimination and bullying and protected and codified laws thinks I'm a bad influence? What's the alternative Jonathan to my view? Your's? If so, I feel quite comforted that what I am doing is correct. I wish you good luck in your bitterness.

Well the alternative is to help your son as best you can. Making offensive videos does nothing for your son. I don't see what you are accomplishing.

Another point, even assuming Marty Murphy implied that your son's life was not worth living and she meant it, is that justification for making a video like that? Are you saying that two wrongs make a right?

"Whoever said I was tolerant of bigotry? You have some serious issues with the ability to reason."

How is it that Jonathan has issues with reasoning if you're the one who has these conspiracy theories about Marty believing your son is worthless?

Autism is a processing problem that makes it difficult to concentrate, use one's working memory, abstract reasoning, organization, time management, listening and language comprehension to various levels as you demonstrate (except for language because you have Asperger's, not autism).

Due to the difficulties listed above, it's impossible to remain spontaneous throughout each day, enjoying and trying new things, making friends, and getting through any interest, task, accomplishment or hobby the proper way. It's not supposed to be that someone- that being the autistic person- has to take the long route to gain knowledge of as many things as possible around the world.

I don't see how anyone wanting a cure for autism is equivalent to saying they want to kill your son. Whaaattt!!! You must have the mind of a 10-year-old if you think this way. A cure would make things easier. I also don't need to hear the same old crap about how it's better to be who you are and other advice that's supposed to make one feel better when most people with common sense know darn-well that if a cure does exist one day, they would take it (like...yeah right....how am I supposed to buy into that if I'm smart enough to grasp this concept). I was once in denial as most people from neurodiversity are. You'd have to be pretty impaired if you truly think autism isn't really a disability. While some people on the spectrum admit it is, they're not 100 percent aware of their limitations.

Just as someone who is asked what letter of the alphabet comes after a certain letter and needs to sing it to answer the question, people on the spectrum spend their entire lives having to figure things out the long way. When they get pooped out at some point during the day or want to partake in something they find they're good at (it's hard to be good at or as good as NTs in many areas), they'll spend all their time and energy into that activity no matter how old it gets. Even when they move on to something else, the knowledge they gained from the previous activity is in their long-term memory the same way as in a neurotypical person, only NTs don't find the need to spend every waking hour on it, and even if they forget some details, they're not supposed to be meant to verbalize it all unless if in a conversation (in which you're supposed to use forest, not the trees, and have a dialogue, not monologue) a question (then maybe the answer will come up) is asked as well as following other rules that autistics need to be taught.

A cure is supposed to fix this all but most people on the autistic spectrum can't figure that out or know their limitations but defend and protect others by saying, "Don't worry, there won't ever be a cure" as if they are family members trying to be affectionate. BTW, if an NT (especially in the special education department) says he/she agrees with someone on the spectrum, it's because you're supposed to be positive- it's a good social skill to have.
