Kent: An issue of Los Angeles magazine on the stands costs $5. Previous to this, you could also buy a digital copy of the issue online, this was 3 dollars. I have bought both. Before today or yesterday, they did not have the article online free of charge. I am not sure if you can get it outside of southern california, certainly much easier to get hard copy in southern california than in north carolina for example. Not everyone wants to pay 5 bucks for the magazine even if they can get it or 3 dollars to buy it digitally. So, this is what I meant by no charge, and yeah, I had to buy my own issue, they have not given me one for free at least not yet.
Jonathan-thank you for your article. You are, of course, 100% correct. There needs to be proper research and a cure so kids can go on to hold jobs, socialize, have friends and participate in all the other parts of life that are so important to leading independent lives. If a man such as yourself, who is considered mildy autistic, is having such difficulites maintaining a job or being capable of integrating into the real world and social situations can you just imagine how impossible it is going to be for all the kids of the parents in complete denial (e.g. Kristina Chew's kid, Susan Senator's kid and others)who act as if autism is just a lovely experience? They need to get their heads out of their asses, start listening and stop denying.
Sorry, don't know how to do that. Guess you're going to have to write it over again. I guess it might be worth your while, since you have written about this in two separate threads
Thank you so much Jonathan for sharing yours story. I am so excited to follow your blog. Your insights are invaluable to me.
My daughter is only 9 but she wants to be cured. She doesn't say those words, but she does say she wants to have friends, that it makes her said when kids walk away from her, she gets frustrated when physically she can't do what other kids are doing and what she wants most is to be able to eat gluten. She's seen a video of herself severely impaired and she says she's happy her mommy made her better.
Thank you, thank you for putting yourself out there. There are plenty of us that support you - unfortunately you probably hear from us less because we spend most of our time fighting for our children. Please know that we are there.

Did you copy and paste from previous blogs? Nothing new here Jonathan.
No, my article has been out for a few weeks now, but Los Angeles magazine just recently put it on line for no charge. This is what is new, Kent.
No charge? I don't understand. Did you expect them to charge you?

I hope that clarifies your questions.
Well, that's pretty thoughtless of them not to give you a free copy. Oddly, this is available in NC at Barnes & Noble.

J., do you realise how much effort I put into that lost comment? Will you check your spam bucket for my vomitas?
